Hoopbench

Barudan U01 files

U01 is the Barudan format. It has a 256 byte header, then three bytes per record, and it selects needles by number rather than storing colours.

Used by

Barudan commercial machines.

What it keeps

Stitch positions, jumps, trims and colour changes as needle numbers.

What it can't hold

Thread colours and names. Which thread sits on which needle is set up at the machine.

What to watch for

Hoopbench steps through needles 1 to 15 in order for each colour stop. Remap them on the machine if your threads are set up differently.

Best for

Barudan machines.
